Raised around the work
I grew up around people who built things for themselves. Selling wasn't a career decision, it was the household language: you find the need, you meet it, you keep your word.
That gave me an early advantage and an early blind spot. I learned that producing was the way to be valuable, and I did not question that for a long time.
Performance years
I went from selling to leading, then to building the teams and systems other people sold inside. Targets were met. Then they were raised, and met again.
Nobody looking at my results would have asked whether the rest of my life could carry them. I didn't ask either.
Building, and operating
I moved from employee to owner: companies, routes, operations. The freedom was real. So was the weight. Ownership meant the problems came home with me, because there was nowhere else for them to go.
The fall
In 2017 the personal, financial, and relational pressure arrived at the same time. What broke was not the business plan. It was the gap between what I was producing outside and what I had built inside.
Base Camp is the honest place after the fall where you can finally see. It is not the start of the journey. It is the end of the first one.
Doing the work myself
I invested years into coaching, study, and practice, not as a credential but because I needed it to work. What held was not motivation. It was structure, honesty, and a weekly practice I still keep.
Re-aligning the marriage
My wife and I rebuilt what performance had been quietly eroding. In 2019 we renewed our vows. Not as a milestone to display, as a decision to live differently from then on.
A season of carrying
During my wife's breast-cancer journey, our family and the businesses needed me at the same time, in different rooms. We are open about that season because pretending otherwise would be dishonest.
It taught me what a life can hold when the foundation underneath it has actually been built, and how little the performance matters when it hasn't.
The mountain as a teacher
Years of endurance training taught me the same lesson in a physical language: you do not talk yourself up a mountain. You prepare, you keep moving, and you find out who you are somewhere past the point you planned for.
One philosophy, several expressions
Project Light, the retreats, Pathfinder and Align, LUV Deposits, Project LUV, The Honest Liar, The Last Tuesday, and this site are not separate ventures. Each one is a place where something I had to learn to live gets built for other people. Project Light, the Pathfinder app, and the Life Align System were co-founded with Maria Trusa and Benjamin Norman.

I understand Source as God. My life and my study include Christianity and the Bible, alongside what I have learned from other traditions. I keep a weekly practice, and it is the part of the system I protect first.
